If you're a purist, please step away... as what I have done to this car will trigger you!
The Ford Falcon
A precursor to the Ford Mustang.
Not what I was looking for, but we have been together a long while now!

The Falcon
At the start of our time together, it was an awkward start. In Compton, CA I had to cut a tree limb to get the car out of the yard. It had grown through the car! I had brought a gas can, a battery, tools and more with me so that if it could start, I was driving it out of there... whish it turns out was a good idea. A friend of mine had ridden with me, she was going to drive my daily driver out of there, while I drove the Falcon.
So we start off driving down the street, and these um... gentlemen sitting in the porch drinking said "hey white girl, how you doing?" so that was the start! Yes.... I waved and said "Hi" back!
Then at the next corner, I turned to a red light. Waiting for it to turn green, my friend (following now in my daily driver) had called me as we were laughing at what had just occurred.
So these men pulled up in a flatbed tow truck next to me, and the passenger leans out the window and says 'Sell me that car.' I said, "No thank you - I just bought it." He proceeds to open the door... remember we are at a red light, and my friend is on the speakerphone with me, so I say "do not do what I'm about to do..." and I floor it through the red light! Until we are safely somewhere else, City of Industry, we pulled over so I could arrange to get the car towed from there!
Then my first positive experience happened while we were waiting for the tow truck... a gentleman pulls over and offers us some assistance (we declined but...) he was the President of a Falcon club! Something good!

Hi & Welcome!
Welcome to my blog... this whole site is for Monster, my '64 Ford Falcon Sprint Futura Convertible
Believe me, that is a mouthful, and not even the beginning of it! The name started from research and parts Monster came with. The parts I have are for a '63 and a '64. The vin states that it's a '64 but red with a black interior. Not so much. It is actually (mostly) gold with turquoise interior!
Okay, so I restarted the website once again. Mainly, because I am finally going to start working on him. BUT I digress.... to give you a very slight background, I have to tell you I suffered a stroke a few years ago now... but it has made this SO difficult! I run my own web server, do my own hosting, etcetera. ALL of that went down the tubes. I couldn't even get into the site right after my sweetie moved servers.
So now it starts from scratch again.
About Me
I'm a woman who purchased a '64 Falcon many many years ago in Los Angeles. When I moved to Slidell, LA many years later... I would have sold it except for the fact that it seemed to make my honey anxious. So I kept it. Mind you -- I had the car before I met him!
Now, we have moved once more to Las Vegas, NV but the Falcon is in Arizona. So it sits... and until I can be at the same location as Monster is, he is going to just sit!
